that boozy, bluesy rock and roll

Barclays Ctr, Brooklyn, NY 11217, USA

A night with some of my favorite people
& some of my favorite living bands.

It may take a little bit before a show tops this one, and by a little bit, I mean next show I attend. I just love the feeling of being in the crowd below the stage, feeling the energy and what music is all about. So needless to say, it was to be a great night. Not only did I score very limited general admission front section tickets to the Black Keys and Cage the Elephant - but I got to enjoy it with some of my best friends and my fiancé. I bought these tickets last spring and anticipated this show all summer.

My expectations were most certainly surpassed, Cage was sick and my love for Dan Auerbach continues to grow.  The Black Keys helped me realize there is still real music out there.  Not every newer artist is strictly a studio act - they actually can put on a real live show.

Although, to be perfectly honest -a great show is like a full blown addiction, thrilling and wild, but consumingly addictive.   After seeing great bands, I only want to see more.
