Made in the 80's.

I grew up on 80's movies and 90's music,
just part of being an 80's kid.

So when I heard my job was doing an 80's themed event I jumped at the opportunity to style a look to fit the part and perhaps a funky throwback look for a friend as well.  As some of you know I work a few different jobs, I like to call it moonlighting, or you could just say I'm a crazy person and work 3 or 4 different jobs.  Hey, a girl not only has to eat, but she's got to have some fabulous shoes too.

One of the places I work at is the Suffolk Theater; a historic theater with a retro dinner and a movie theme, that has just been fully renovated to all of its original 1930's splendor, a true art-deco theater. Check it out here,  if you like and see whats hitting the stage this week. Truly an amazing venue with fantastic food, a great local beer and wine selection and depending on the event, we  even create themed costuming which I thought we be good to post all the silliness here to relish its awesome on the inter-webs.

So I am actually more of a fan of the late 80's early 90's fashion mash-up, I'm not  crazy into retro 80's fashion as a whole.  But more an appreciation for certain elements.  So I did my best with items from my own wardrobe to create the looks.  I thought it was a success, fuchsia lip color and all!

I thought it would only be appropriate that I post some of my 80's inspirations which of course came from some my favorite 80's movies.

Can anyone name all of these movies?
I hope that everyone can,
because everyone should see all of these classics at some point.
Ready, set- Go!
