Casual Style on a Budget!
Believe it or not the majority of this outfit is from Target!
& you'll never guess where the boots are from.

As Coco Chanel said,

“I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.”

I totally agree- in all honesty, I'm a little obsessive & I'll admit that even my lounge wear and pajamas will always match.  It's kind of a sickness.  But I feel you should always look pulled together, even if you are just running a few errands around town (as I was about to do in this look) you should still be representative of you, because you never know when you will be face to face with destiny.

Now, I'm not talking a full face of make-up, curling iron heated and ready, and your favorite pumps on an every day basis- simply pulled together. Fun and if you can do it, awesome- but for me that's highly unrealistic.  Here, I have air-dried hair and no make-up on except for my favorite Burt's Bee's Chapstick and my go-to tinted moisturizer for a polished natural look.  I love this tinted moisturizer, I think it is so unnecessary to pile on face make-up as so many ladies do, you don't need it beautiful! Nothing is worse than "the mask".  Just find a tinted moisturizer that works for you!

Now for the clothing pick on a low-key day style should be relaxed, but doesn't need to be sloppy.
I like to choose a comfortable piece from my closet to be my focus, either a top or the footwear and then piece my best options from there.  In this instance I chose this comfy sweater first.
Then add other simple pieces and pull it together with footwear and an accessory or two.  It doesn't have to be a huge ordeal on a daily basis; we'll save that for for special occasions. ;)

I also want to take a moment to discuss these boots!  Okay I love Stuart Wietzman, in case you don't already know- although I only have the pleasure of wearing his greatest because of a dear friend who worked for them for years and also my own very short employment by the generous company.

Although that aside, I can't always afford the beauty of SW and must search for his stylings in other places.  This boot was reminiscent to a multiple buckle boot that he puts out a variation of for 2 years, which last year was the Belmont boot, which was also over $600.

Let's be real, I can't afford to drop $600 every time I love a pair of boots.  So I found these at Bass that had a similar look, totally different color palette,  but never the less: it was still love. I couldn't believe that I found fashionable boots in Bass, which also meant they were insanely comfortable from the start, no breaking in necessary and I got them for under $40.  They are also real leather & a man-made suede that looks and feels completely real.  It's not micro-suede. They're great, especially for the price.

Being pulled together and fabulous doesn't always have to be extravagant
It's for the every day as well.

    1. I love it, I have tried so many others. I find they are usually too thick or a weird texture or don't have enough coverage. This one has great coverage yet is stil super light and has a texture life a light face lotion. Its fantastic. In all honesty I love Sonia Kashuk's products in general.

      Best,
